Writetober 2019!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

With October right around the corner, I wanted to unveil the Writetober list for my 2nd year of participating.  If you are an artist, you will notice that it is identical to the official Inktober schedule.  I do this because a close friend of mine runs this schedule in his art studio with his students.

What is Writetober?

Everyday for the month of October I write a 1,000 word flash fiction encompassing the word of that day.  So, by October 31st you should have 31 flash fictions, each pertaining to the corresponding word of that day.

What does this do for you?

It gets the creativity flowing!  On top of that, it also gets you in a writing mindset.

What do you do with what you have written?

Post it, share it, and send it over to me!  I will gladly post everyone’s flash fictions on my website!

What’s this challenge mode you may hear about?

Last year I challenged myself to not only write a flash fiction everyday, but to make each one a continuing story.  Some of you may have read it on this site, or my patreon.  Samuel was my main character and boy did he have a bad day, everyday.  The entire month was a story of a gradual possession taking hold of him and forcing him to poison an entire village.

Recap

Starting October 1st, I will be writing a 1,000 flash fiction per day corresponding to the word of the day.  Each day I will post the flash fiction free, on this site and my patreon.  I welcome everyone that has a keyboard or pen and paper to see how far you can get!  Have fun!  I can’t wait to see what you create!
